This book was fantastic. I loved the pictures and each letter was really bold and well thought out. My favourite was W. You'll have to find any reason possible to buy this book - I have bought about 4, one for my two year old and I keep finding different children to give it to as birthday presents!

I bought this kid's alphabet for a four year old. I knew Ella Doran's work from her beautiful photographs of flowers for Portmerion pottery (check out elladoran.co.uk) so I knew the pictures would be colourful and funky.

I read the book myself about 5 times before I handed it over! Each page has fun, imaginative pictures and the paper surfaces have different qualities eg shiny, fuzzy felt, you can write on them with chalk, mirror, etc so there's lots more to discover each time you look through the book.

A quality book with good design - satisfying for both the adult and the child reading it. The kid's mother loved it. The book is relatively expensive though because I imagine it has a small market. One star off for the price. You'd want to keep the book and pass it on to others.
