About the Author

Neil McKittrick is a District Judge (Magistrates' Courts) and Recorder of the Crown Court, presently based in London. Pauline Callow, JP, LLM, is a lay magistrate in North London.

This book offers everything to the novice magistrate, as well as being a comprehensive account of the court system. My congratulations to the authors for providing such a worthwhile synopsis of one of the fundamental constitutional institutions.
