5.0 out of 5 stars A poetic charming book, 27 Feb 2001
By A Customer
This is an epic story of a turtle who hatches, and is guided by the sun, and the poetic singing of the waves to the sea.

On its way little turtle has to deal with many obstacles. Seagulls, crabs, all wanting to eat little turtle.

The poetic verse of the waves calling the turtle in, combined with the struggle of the turtle to get to the sea. Makes this story special

Buy it for your kids or yourself. You wont regret it.

But please don't cry(I didn't honest)

5.0 out of 5 stars A personal favourite, 26 Jun 2001
By A Customer
Little Turtle is one of the facts of nature, a young turtle's perilous journey into the safety of the sea, made into a wonderful tale for children and narrating adults alike. The illustrations are breathtaking. Add this to the cleverly written story, and I'm sure you will have goosepimples as you read. I know I did.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully written - just wonderful!, 23 Jul 2002
By Sue Barnfield (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
I found this book to be the most delightful of Sheridan Cain's books so far. It is beautifully written, she has excelled herself. She shows such warmth and yet also an intelligent knowledge of the subject. Children will gain so much by reading material of this calibre.

Well done Sheridan!!!
