4.0 out of 5 stars We're all trapped in time., 16 Jun 2001
By A Customer
Despite what it says under "editorial reviews" this is NOT a collection of stories, it's a novel! It's about a teacher stuck in a job she no longer likes much, who is so busy she has no time to enjoy her life or listen to her pupils. She just wants time to stop for a bit so she can catch up. It's very true to life; a lot of teachers will recognise the pressures here. It can also be very funny. Some will love the opening, some will not, but if chapter 1 isn't your cup of tea don't be put off, it isn't very typical of the book.
