Following the Countryside Agency's acom waymarks, you can trace the route of the Roman road that the Peddars Way follows and enjoy the fine nature reserves along the coast. This is the complete official guide for the long-distance walk or the weekend stroller. All you need is this one book. It contains: - the entire route split into convenient sections - 1:25 000 Ordnance Survey maps for each section, marked with points of special interest - circular routes off the trail for shorter walks, enabling the walker to explore the local area - route information on each section, with colour photographs and notes on nearby features - background information on local history, wildlife, archaeology, geology, industry and land use - details of public transport, villages on or near the route with facilities for walkers, useful organisations and sources of further information on accommodation - the Countryside Access Charter on your rights and responsibilities when out in the countryside

This book is all anyone needs for undetaking the Peddars Way and Norfolk coastal path. It has clear 1:25,000 maps with the route highlighted and guides you through the trail with words. It also manages to give a insight into the Roman History of the area and some geology also. However the trail is unbelieveably well signed posted and a 1:50,000 map with some common sense would see you along the trail safely. The book is a handy size to carry and to an extent good for planning. It does give you numbers and addresses which may be useful to whose booking accomodation and transport but i feel more energy should of been placed into this section. The book is certainly worthy of any National trail guide and is the only guide available for this walk to my knowledge.

Used this guide when walking this path. It provided all of the infromation and mapping that I needed. Also good practical tips, historical data etc. Only thing you need to get extra are local bus timetables if you wish to use public transport whilst in Norfolk. Overall, defintely recommended.

An excellent informative book. I am currently using it for the Peddars Way section. The maps are perfect for our needs and the snippets of information make for an even more interesting walk. Highly recommended.
