Enjoyed this book very much, I know the area well and have done many of the walks in days gone by.A good buy for any walker.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice walks - but confusing directions, 8 Aug 2003
I think a lot of the landmarks the author describes have changed since the publication of this book. You are unlikely to get lost if you follow the maps closely - but I wouldn't recommend just following the author's directions. I personally found this book a tad confusing as compared with the Ordnance Survey Pathfinder Guides I normally use.
