About the Author

Lt. Col. George Forty CBE FMA is a leading authority on land warfare in the twentieth century. A former tank officer - he had command of a tank in the Korean War, and was wounded in battle - he established his reputation as Curator of the Tank Museum at Bovington, which he brought to be one of the world's leading military museums. He is a prolific author, and edits the quarterly journal Tank.

(REAL NAME)   
I'm very happy to find this book. The author (an ex officer) alterned detailed of the tanks with some true tales from officers of the WWII. These are in the chapters "Battle history". There is also a chapter on the super-heavy tank, very rare to find something about them.The language (for non-English people) is not very difficult. Well done, Mr. Forty!
