3.0 out of 5 stars Information to wet one's appetite., 6 Feb 2006
By Janet (New Zealand) - See all my reviews
Written clearly and in a non-confusing follow on order, providing just enough information to give a basic picture of what, where and how in this region. Just enough for those who only want the very basics (encouraging a little knowledge is better than gaining none) and giving enough info to wet the appetite for more in those who might be so inclined. I found it fascinating and it especially very successfully helped me in answering questions and sharing/encouraging curiosity with my grandchildren who at 7 and nine years old, have dug into it themselves and begged to go exploring and experiencing areas mentioned for themselves.
