4.0 out of 5 stars A quality partisan view of the events in Zululand, 1879, 4 Mar 2002
This book is probably one of the most informative and comprehensive studies of the anglo-zulu wars i have ever read. This book gives you a true insiders view to this costly and terrible war. You can feel the pain of the hot sun at Rorke's Drift, and almost hear the chant of the proud and fierce warriors at Isandlwana. There are period pictures and historical battle facts that add to the enjoyment. A great book. A must read for the serious British military researcher.
