5.0 out of 5 stars Readable, detailed and comprehensive, 4 Feb 1999
By A Customer
This is a good rounded history of parachuting from the early balloonists to the present day. It has a good balance between sport, show and military parachuting. The technical content is well balanced with the stories and I would recommend it for those interested in general aviation history as well as Paratroopers and Skydivers.
