4.0 out of 5 stars Some first class walks through beautiful scenery, 15 Jan 2001
We have walked four or five of the walks in this book and had a great time. The walks we have chosen take you past excellent opportunities to look at local wildlife as well as beautiful local scenery.

The best testiment to the directions we can give is that we have only gone of the written trail once and found it easy to get back on track.

There's no need to be an orienteering expert as all directions are landmark based and easy to follow.

Equally all the pubs chosen so far have been good tradititonal venues with bar food and a good choice of beers and wines to meet most tastes.

None of the walks require any special equipment, although putting a pair of wellies, something to drink and a warm coat in the boot of your car is a wise precaution.

Good for the anything from the beginner to someone more interested in the pubs than the walks.

We plan to enjoy more of these when the weather improves.....
