If you like Xena but can't stand reading Xena books, try a graphic novel instead. It contains 4 episodes at various lengths, Gilgamesh, Temple of the dragon god, Theft of the young lovelies and let sleeping dog lie. It has a BRIEF intro from Gabrielle on Xena's past based on the tv/cable series for those unfamiliar.
The artwork/storyline presentation is more DC/Marvel than Witchblade/Spawn. This style seemed similar to the Buffy graphic novels.
This comic strip style should appeal to many young readers but may put others off.
I enjoyed this overall, funny in some places, intriguing in others.
With the price so low, it's a bargain to have the Warrior Princess!
