5.0 out of 5 stars A Must For Mystery Lovers, 18 Jan 2004
By A Customer
This is one of those books that all readers of mysteries should have at hand. While not a page turner per se, fascinating to puruse and reference. The book is detailed enough to provide readers with interesting forensics and legal history and contemporary practice in this area, without being tedious or too exceedingly technical. The poisoners themselves are well sketched, from nineteenth century cases to the contemporary Dr. Shipman.
