A collection of 40 main walks plus 16 variations and outline descriptions of 11 longer walks in Sussex. The High Weald, Ashdown Forest, Low Weald and the South Downs are all explored. There are lakeside and river-bank walks, woodland outings, gentle strolls along the line of abandoned railways, and more challenging walks up and down some of the steepest hills in southern England.
