From the Author
Author's comments belowI wrote Walking in Norway (Cicerone Press, England) over five summers totally about 9 months of walking time in this lovely country. All of the walks were personally logged by myself; some I have been over several times. The maps are excellent and route profiles detail the trails up and down's; fact panels provide a synopsis of the walks. Northern Norway was a surprise to me - light all night, superb scenery and remote untouched landscape. Norwegian huts are accessible to all (just join the Mountain Touring Association for a small fee and hut fees are discounted) and are clean with blankets, pots and pans, and food. Visit the mountains of Norway, a true adventure for us all! Constance Roos
