5.0 out of 5 stars Full of technical detail made to seem simple., 9 Mar 2002

I thought I knew a bit about IC aero engines until I read this book. It is full of Quite detailed technical info, but it is delivered in a way that makes it seem common sense. All aspects of design, manufacture and use of IC aero engines are covered and the author credits the reader with some intelligence. I'm half way through my third read at the moment. Very interesting for non engine fans too, as the basics are covered, but not in a patronizing manner. One of my favourite buys from amazon.
