5.0 out of 5 stars Where can I buy all these beers?, 28 Sep 2004
By A Customer
This book makes you feel like a kiddie in a sweetie shop - so many fantastic beers and the only questions is "Where can I buy them?"

Written by Jeff Evans - an expert on real ale in a bottle - this book has the authority lacking from some other tomes on the subject.

It's only a year since I bought the last edition and the amount of change in the marketplace is phenomenal which made it well worth buying this one.

If you are looking for a present for someone who likes beer this is just the thing. The writing is clear and authoritative and takes the reader gently through the 600+ real ales available in bottle in Britain today.

Buy this book - you won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential Guide to Bottled Beers, 11 Sep 2003
By A Customer
Once again a fantastic source of information.

Just about every brewery in the UK that produces real ale in a bottle is here with details about the brewery and the beers in an easy to read format. The writing is informative without being anorak-y, a good size and a hardback cover means that this will remain a useful book.... until the next edition.

A real "must-have" for anyone interested in beer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh Wow!, 14 Sep 2004
By A Customer
I wish I could get half the beers described in this new book from my local off-licence.

It's like reading a good cookbook - your mouth starts watering as you realise quite how many bottle conditioned beers there are available.

Another fantastic book from a really knowledgeable author.

Put that together with the fact it's from CAMRA and you know it's going to be good.
