Good Pubs or should I say 'Great British Pubs' seem to be considerably harder to come across these days. Rural pubs and back street locals are closing at an alarming rate and the remaining pubs, particularly town and city centre pubs, are steadily being turned into branded 'profit' bars with little character. The Good Beer Guide is a unique guide and is the ultimate pub lovers reference book. The guide is a true masterpiece that lists 5000 pubs where you can pretty much guarantee a great pint of beer and that it'll be in a pub with character and a decent 'pub' atmosphere. I've travelled the country with Good Beer Guides over the past 5 years and it's certainly had a very positive impact on my quality of life and I've rarely been disappointed. This is 'THE PUB GUIDE' to buy, uniquely dependable and a good deal more up to date and reliable than any of the competition. Ant.
