There are some really good stories in this collection. They are certainly not soppy. There is love in all sorts of forms, and the target of the love is sometimes surprising. I'm not usually a reader of short stories, but I really enjoyed these.

This is full of short stories that each start off going nowhere, ponder around aimlessly and then end abruptly on one of those fake/emotive sentences which leave you going "Huh?" Tiresome. Go read something else, like the back of a cornflakes box.
