We didn't use this book at school, however we did use the German version which I found very useful for explaining grammar simply and concisely. I thought it was so good I decided to buy this book during my A Levels and I wasn't disappointed.

It has served me well at university and now that I'm off to study in France, this book will definitely be coming with me. If you're looking for a little book to provide clear explanations and short exercises to practice what you've learnt, this is it. Or if you're looking for a little reference book to check grammar you've already learnt, look no further.

an excellent book for revision as well as reference. Each grammatical point is very clearly explained, invaluable for anyone learning french.
