This book does exactly what it says, teaches you essential visual basic 6.0 fast. I have been reading this book and all i can say is that it is very usefull. If you are just a beginner, it teaches you the basics and gives you a good understanding, if you are a professional, it is a very good reference book. Also well illustrated with examples and practical work.

I am ordering this book now, over the selection of 50 others that came up when I searched on the words 'Visual Basic 6.0' because I liked John Cowell's similar book on Delphi. I've also been lectured by him and he knows what he's talking about. I have no doubt that this book will do exactly what it says on the cover - teach me Essential Visual Basic 6.0, fast. How's that for confidence?
