The book includes specifications and biographies of the men behind the cars. Other work by the author includes "As Old as the Industry", which won the Society of Automotive Historians' Cugnot Award, and "Sporting Rileys", which won an Award of Distinction from the same body. He also wrote "Alfa Romeo - the Legend Revived".
