This is a truly beautiful, painstakingly-researched book on the production of contemporary fashion photography. The images are gorgeously reproduced and the design is really elegant. The interviews with each practitioner (not just photographers, but stylists, make-up artists, designers and art directors too) are often quite revealing and the introductory essay is far more insightful and sensitive than the usual journalistic accounts of fashion imagery. Overall, it's a fresh approach to a popular subject and well-worth the cover price.
