I came across this book in a charity shop, where there was a job lot of them for 50p each. I now wish I'd bought the lot and given them to friends, this is such an interesting read.

Written in the style of a philosophical text, the book charts the semi-fictional career in English football of Eric Cantona.

Quotations (that he might have said) are used along with snippets from great writers and philosophers for comic and sometimes profound effect.

If you have a love of special footballers, and half a brain, you'll read this book over and over.
