Having come across a few black and white reproductions of this artist's work in the Phaidon Companion to Art and Artists in the British Isles I was eager to discover more about this artist. Cordelia Oliver's book is a tribute to this astonishing artist who developed her own evocative and expressive style of painting and who was, sadly, overcome with breast cancer at a relatively young age.

I thought it was a good well reserched book but it wasint very good for the types of me. Im a high school student who wanted just quick facts about Eardley for my essay but this was the only source of material i could find, It was heavy reading for me after a hard day @ school,
