I have a weakness for watercolours! If I had all the money in the world, I would collect maritime paintings. So when I began my meagre collection I soon discovered that there were probably as many painters of nautical scenes as there were pictures to be had!

Hence my purchase of this book and it was - and is - well worth the investment. I really don't know enough to say who might be missing from the book or which paintings are not included. But I do know that, even if I can't afford the real thing this volume gives me an immense amount of pleasure just to be able to look through its pages. And, of course, just occasionally identify a picture that I'm looking at on my wall!!
