I've spent almost 6 months travelling in Thailand and these are the only recipies i've found that enable me to reproduce the food I have eaten there. Love it.

Kurt Kahrs has done an excellent job with this cookbook. Not only are the recipes easy to follow but they are also delicious.The book is informative and translates well to those of us who are not familiar with Thai cuisine. I would reccomend it to anyone who loves to cook!

But this book by someone obviously of non-Thai nationality is an excellent guide to this cuisine. The book is clear and packed with great recipes, their authentication proven by the quantity of chilies and garlic used, as well as the wonderful dishes that can be produced. All becomes more understandable when the sleeve cover reveals that he cooked at a Bangkok hotel for many years.
