4.0 out of 5 stars Very interesting, BUT do be aware, 18 April 2009
By Di-enw (Sir Gaerfyrddin, Cymru) - See all my reviews
This is a very interesting and, I hope, useful book and I would recommend it without reservation. However, do be aware that it is the same as Food and Cooking in 16th-Century Britain: History and Recipes (Food & cooking in Britain).

Other than that, the recipes are clearly presented, with the original included as well as the modern format we're used to seeing. It also contains a lot of background information on dining in the period. If you're interested in food or food history, it's well worth getting hold of a copy.
