This has to be the worst walking book I have ever had the misfortune to purchase. The walks stated in the book are unsafe and not in the slightest bit practicle for even the best all terrain buggy. We tried four of the walks out, two of which we had to turn back as they expect you to get a buggy up a 45 degree uneven, rocky incline that even an able bodied person would struggle with. Another walk stated there where 3 "kissing gates" to contend with ended up being 6 meaning we had to remove our young son 6 times then lift the buggy over a 5 foot gate each time, again this is ok for a healthy fit person but someone on their own with a child would really struggle. Finally the last walk we tried was not even in the Peak district and took us just the other side of Sheffield town centre but did not indicate exately where the walk started or where you parked, we even stopped at a local Petrol Station where the assistant didn't know and even 4-5 other locals in the petrol station at the time had no idea of this walk.

All in all a total waste of money and have to say I don't believe the person that wrote this book has even done any of these walks. Save your money and go to a local tourist information as they where so much more helpful and gave us walks such as Tissington Trial that was a perfect flat pushchair friendly walk but not even mentioned in this book!!!

friend of ours bought this....oh dear.

length of walk, 5 miles. number of gates 12. number of open gates 0. number of streams 3. number of bridges 0. length of walk over root strewn swamp 4.2 miles.....perfect for buggies obviously.....

Do not buy this, the author really does not deserve to earn money from it!
