I bought this book as a Christmas present for my fishing mad partner, to encourage him to fish nearer my home instead of taking whole weekends away over it. As a complete non-fisher I was pleasantly surprised as I kept flicking through it to see what 'waters' there are and where. It gives all the details you need on access, amenities, licences, day passes, some of the waters have maps too! In fact it is so informative that I have selected the reservoir near me and now have all the gen I need to surprise my partner with his own annual licence to fish there for Christmas! If I can sit down and read it then I'm sure any angler will find it 'unputdownable'. For keen anglers, it contains some pictures of REALLY BIG FISH!!!! I only didn't give it 5 stars cos I don't understand this blokey fishing business.....
