Book Description
A fan's personal history of Stockport County FC between 1952 and 1998, telling of all of the frustration, heartache and occasional joy in supporting your local club! Essential reading for the Hatters but sure to appeal to all football fans, it is spiked with the gallows humour and ready wit of the terraces - sure to entertain. There is a strong human element as it follows 7 supporters who meet as teenagers in the early 60s. For those who want more than facts and figures, it is packed with anecdotes, stimulating discussion and absorbing social history, with details of life away from the terraces over almost 50 years. A donation from the royalties of this book will go to cancer charities.
