5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect cookery book, 27 Mar 2000
By A Customer
Alistair Little is the godfather of Modern British cuisine. Any book he produced would be illuminating, but this collaboration with Richard Whittington is the perfect cookery book. Professional techniques, holding points and mise-en-place are combined with basic methods and inspired ideas. This book is now my primary reference in the kitchen. I bought the book after dining superbly well at Alistair's Frith Street restaurant. I suggest you do both.
