An exciting childrens story that has lots of twists and turns. There are almost twenty different kinds of dinosaurs in the story, many are ones that children will not know about. My favourite chapter is chapter 4 Parting of the Ways becuase Uncle Lancelot saved a baby Diplodocus surrounded by fire, the children get chased by an Allosaurus and Emma flies on a Gnathosaurus. Gerald Durrell knows about extinct animals as well as ones alive now.
