Product Description

Review

Easy to follow with good range of interactive exercises. --Lecturer, North Notts College

This is a very comprehensive text which covers all aspects of the recruitment process. The layout is particularly good for dyslexic students. --Course Manager, Bishop Burton College

Excellent for assisting in removing the 'fear factor' for potential recruits. The student officer books are excellent for continuous development and assistance. --Positive Action Officer, Humberside Police

5.0 out of 5 stars This really did help me with the test, 10 Jul 2007
By Clive Bent (Cirencester) - See all my reviews
I've just been accepted to start my training in Gloucestershire and I think this book helped me to pass the test. It only costs a tenner and it goes through all the different bits of the test and gives some advice on the application form. Really worth the cash.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good starting point for information, 29 Oct 2008

I recently purchased this book as I have my A/C day with the Met later on this month.

Whilst I found the content of the book very helpful, there is not enough of it. It is short on practice questions. It is a good buy if you are looking for background information on the assessment day but not to test your skills.

Overall, I am glad I purchased it as it gave me an insight into what to expect.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not the best book out there, 25 Sep 2009
By Angela Akred (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews

I only got this book as I purchased it in a bundel of three, out of the three books this is the worst. There is very little mock tests you can do on each stage of the assessment centre and it isnt the easiest to follow either. There are better books out there than this one. It is not the best and I dont think it would help you either.
