Not long out of the woods from rescuing the home secretary's daughter from kidnappers, Ben Maddox is on his way to the Ivory Coast to report on a fragile political situation and break-out by a separatist group. Bernard Ashley lives in South east London and is a former head teacher. He has been shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal on three occasions and has also written for TV.
