4.0 out of 5 stars The Trinity vs. the Four Horsemen, 16 Mar 2009

(TOP 500 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
During DC's 52 series the mad scientists of Oolong Island released the Apokoliptian demigods the Four Horsemen to kill Black Adam and his family. Black Adam managed to destroy there physical form but they were not totally destroyed and are now using the devastated country of Bialya to reconstruct their bodies. Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman are the only heroes in a position to counter the Horsemen's plans with a little help from the scientists who created the Four Horsemen in the first place.

This is a good story that nicely ties up the Four Horsemen storyline from 52, giving some more information on what the Horsemen actually are as well as their powers. The story also continues the saga of Oolong Island as the mad scientists their attempt to reign in the Horsemen. The artwork is a bit mixed with some nice work done for the Horsemen themselves and their zombie hordes but some rather average work for the heroes themselves. Overall this was an interesting story with some nice action and good twists to the plot and is definitely worth reading if you enjoyed 52.
