5.0 out of 5 stars A super book about friendship, 2 April 2005
By A Customer
Fox and Badger are two young friends who set off on a journey to one end of the rainbow to find treasure. On their way there they meet Squirrel, Mother Duck and Old Hare, who each has a different treasure to cherish. At the end of their journey Fox and Badger discover that treasure can mean a lot of things. Theirs is friendship. And what's more precious than that? It's a very sweet story with soft, appealing illustrations. The book is ideal for the classroom to discuss themes such as love and friendship. I highly recommand it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A charming book, 9 April 2005
By A Customer
The story in this book is simple but the message is pretty strong. What we take for granted is sometimes the most precious. And that's what Fox and Badger, two young friends, find out after a long quest in search of treasure at the end of the rainbow. Though it's not greed which prompts them to find treasure in the first place but their sheer innocence they nevertheless learn the importance of friendship... In a very sweet way. A lovely book, superbly illustrated.

5.0 out of 5 stars A gentle story of friendship, 1 April 2005
By A Customer
Fox and Badger are the best of friends and they go in search of treasure at one end of the rainbow. During their journey they encounter various characters who all have a different view of what treasure is. In the end Fox and Badger find their kind of treasure too. This a lovely book very well written and beautifully illustrated and it gently portrays the value of friendship. It's a treasure!
