Product Description
Synopsis
Portsmouth's 6.57 crew were the most talked about casual football firm of the 1980s and 1990s. This notorious gang took their name from the time of the train they caught to games, following their team around the country with the kind of dedication - and violence - that only a true hoolifan knows. Now, for the first time ever, the amazing story of the firm is revealed.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bit like PFC, promising but somewhat disappointing, 2 Jan 2005
I usually love these type of books, but to be honest I was a little disappointed with Rolling with the 6.57 Crew. Whilst there were some great stories, and you got a real feel for the Pompey boys and their domination of the terraces, there are only so many stories of this type you can read. When you are on the 59th account of a trip to Leeds, Manchester or wherever it does get a little tedious. All the same it was highly readable, but there are many much more entertaining and enjoyable books on this subject.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, 3 Nov 2004
As a Pompey fan, I loved every page of this book. Not being the biggest of readers, I was expecting it to take me some time to read it, but just couldn't put the bloody thing down!

If your in the slightest bit tempted to buy this book, then please, just get it and you will see what I mean. (unless you are a scummer and then I suggest you don't bother!)

Pompey til I die!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, how cool!, 15 Nov 2004
By A Customer
I wasnt sure what to expect from this, as Im not a good reader as I was chucked out of school before I got to 11, but still I got my Dad to order this for me. I was amazed, it tells the story of voilence and thuggery of PORTSMOUTH CITY fans at football matches. Its amazing the amount of great blooshed and guts that are all over it. It made me want to buy some DM's and shave me head, go down to SMS and smack a few Stains! I got my 12 y/old sister to read it afterwards and she spent 3 whole weeks in our caravan reading it. Afterward she told me it had changed her life, and there was no way she was ever letting her little daughter, Jordon, go to another Pompey game as they are all thugs! I told her to re-read it as she would soon find herself in lvoe with the way of life of these low-lives and chavs. Now she joins me to away games...

This book is pure fantasy. The 657 crew were actually a small group of retarded drunks who went around the country getting beaten up by other football fans. Read more
