About the Author

Mike grew up in the outdoor world, fishing and cooking with fresh produce from the age of 10. He began working as a professional chef six years ago before starting his own catering business. In the past two years, Mike has presented Safari Chef and Catch and Cook with Genarro Contaldo. He also co-presents Channel Four's Saturday Morning Kitchen and fifteen of his recipes will be in the accompanying cookbook to be released later this year. Mike is in discussion with Channel Four about another series.

The paperback version of the highly successful hardback edition from hugely popular TV Chef Mike Robinson. This book complements the superb, highly rated SKY UK TV Food Series, Heavens Kitchen & Heavens Kitchen At Large. All the recipes in the book are superbly written out, and include some stunning photography. Mike does food you really want to eat, and his wild food ethos is promoted superbly in this book. It really is a perfect gift for any food enthusiast. A hugely likeable personality, who has such a wide range of skills, including shooting his own local ingredients! Runs The Pot Kiln gastro pub, Pot Kiln Anywhere outside catering, and Wild Game and Cookery School.

Mike Robinson sprung to fame on satellite/digital TV, and now runs a superb pub in the wilds of Berkshire. This book takes some of his favourite recipes and ensures that they are user friendly, although some may find some of his ingredients difficult to come by, as he is a fan of all game dishes.
The book is a delight, and you shouldn't find halfway through a recipe that you should have started 72 hours before...excellent stuff!
