This is wonderful book for children both young and old. My class of 9 year olds reviewed it as part of work we were doing on authors and they rated it as an 'excellent read', 'a fun book to read and look at', 'brilliant tongue twisters and rhymes' and 'amazing illustrations'. It's even better when the author reads it to you, as well, as my class were lucky enough to have. It's an eye and ear catching book which adults will like as much as their children.

This rhyming story is huge fun ! It delighted my 4 year old grandaughter - who loves the hilarious characters and delights in dancing too !! Great for keeping us all awake !

What a knock-out book! The whole family just love Lynne Chapman's wonderfully silly animal illustrations. A great fun, rhyming text that tells Kangaroo's story of trying to set up a cancan troupe in the outback. The colours are so vibrant and all the characters, struggling to do high kicks are beautifully drawn, with such lively personalities. Lovely to read aloud.
