We got the paperback version of this book from at the library and my daugher loved it - however the hardback / board version is not as good as it is seriously "abridged". Ok - so this is a book for pre-school kids but my daugher kept looking for her favourite pages which were missing from the paperback version.

I would suggest buying the paperback.

A truly lovely book. Gorgeous illustrations with plenty of things to discuss with your child about the run up to christmas. The words are nice and big for those that are beginning to read and they convey a lot about the pictures while being simple to read. A joy that we will no doubt be reading throughout the year.
