About the Author
Doug Lansky has written travel columns for over 40 newspapers, including: The Denver Post, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Detroit Free Press, and many more. His books have won several awards, and his most recent, First-Time Around the World, is a Rough Guides bestseller. He is also author of First-Time Europe. Doug was born in Manhattan, grew up in Minnesota, and when he is not on the road his current base is Stockholm, Sweden.
