I purchased this map to go with the rough guide I had bought previously.
At first I thought that the waterproof and rip-proof description was not accurate. At first glance it appeared to be just ordinary shiny paper. However,I realised soon that the the material used is of high quality and very thin indeed. Very different from the waterproof Lake District map I bought a few years ago. What I also liked were the points of interest symbols dotted all over the map which can be easily cross-referenced with the guide book. There are also detailed inner-city maps of major cities included. All in all I am very much looking forward to taking this map to Sri Lanka this summer.
