5.0 out of 5 stars One of the Best, 29 April 2007

(REAL NAME)
Brett Morton has come up with one of the most readable books on roulette in ages. It is concise, balanced, and has an appealing writing style. The reviews and rating of various popular sytems is particularly well done.
The principles of good gambling that he outlines - namely, tremendous self-discipline and great money management skills - are nothing new,but Morton writes with the confidence of someone who has done years of 'hard grafting'.
The only thing I question is Morton's obvious conviction that some dealers can influence where the ball lands thus making them candidates for generous tipping.Half his luck ; all the dealers I've observed in the last 20 years seem quite detatched from their spinning technique; so much so that a mis-cued spin is a common sight.Randomness can produce some pretty bizzare number combinations- so the next time you see 20 consecutive 'reds' come up...odds are that this is a random event rather than a present from the dealer just for your benefit!
At any rate, this is an entertaining book, full of good advice for novice and expert alike; credit where credit is due.
