About the Author
Harkness Roses was established in 1860. In 1974 Philip Harkness joined the family business and became responsible for the growing of Harkness Roses. He has since designed and overseen the construction and display of more than 20 Gold Medal winning exhibits at the Chelsea Flower Show and is the former Chairman of the British Rose Growers Association
