This joke book was compiled by Sarah Mary Kennedy MBE.
Born in East Grinstead {West Sussex} she has been a radio 2 DJ since 1976.

There are 83 stories and 314 jokes in this book, and they were all sent in by Ms Kennedy's DAWN PATROL listeners {a show she has presented since 1993.}

Of all the jokes, my 2 favourites are:

1. If my father is Icelandic and my mother is Cuban, does this make me an Ice Cube?

2. "Mummy, does God use our bathroom?"
"No, why do you ask?"
"Because every morning Daddy bangs on the door and shouts, Oh God, are you still in there?"

The reason for my 4 star rating is that the 83 stories in this book are all from parents, grand parents etc, talking about funny things their grand/children have said.
So, if you're a child or teenager who likes joke books, you may not feel you can relate, or find the stories as humorous as adult readers would.

Apart from that, the jokes are fun, Niki Catlow's illustrations are superb and proceeds from sales went to the NSPCC,

Utterly fabulous!
