Republished by Landmark, the latter and Hey's book compliment each other very well. This book covers old roads in the Peak and South Yorkshire (the book covers the area to Bawtry), giving a significant amount of historical detail on what was actually carried on the region's roads and ancient highways, as well as describing the system of routes.
