I would encourage anyone who wants to improve their emotional intelligence to read this book. Those with poor EI would probably not recognise the need to, but this can significantly improve your performance through knowledge of the impact you have on others in the way you lead. As importantly, also the impact others (peers, bosses and subordinates) have on you.

The book puts this subject as simply as it can, brings out the significant points to be covered at the beginning of every chapter and has some checklists for you to challenge yourself with.

Truly inspiring.
