Derek Walters is Europe's foremost authority on Chinese astrology, and an accomplished practitioner. He has written a number of authoritative and popular books on oriental divination, including The Chinese Astrology Workbook and the Feng Shui Handbook. He lives in Morecombe, Lancashire.

This book is a great work over the subject of Chinese Astrology. The author took me by the hand inside the history of Chinese Astrology and showed me "how deep was the rabbit hole". He doesn't describe the meaning of the Twelve Sign Animals, in fact he goes much more farther than that, describing among other things, the different horoscopes and methodes of divination through the thousands of years of Chinese Civilization till nowadays; and that's not even the top of the iceberg. If anyone wants to really know what Chinese Astrology is really about, this book is a "must have". Don't lose time with the twelve animal sign books, for it's like bread and water compared to a banquet!
