4.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!, 17 Feb 2006
By A Customer
This is such a good book. We borrowed it from the library and have since bought our own copy. Mouse loses her baby in the jungle and while she is looking for him she comes across a huge gorilla who tells her to stop. Mouse terrified runs away and ends up running all over the world to try to escape the gorilla but he keeps following until mouse ends up at the North Pole with nowhere else to go... Is gorilla really going to eat mouse or is everything not as it seems! This is just kids storytelling at its best. There's a repetetive nature to the text which kids love, engaging pictures and a fab twist in the tale. Try it you will like it. Suitable for ages 3-6.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as scary as it looks, 24 Aug 2006
My children aged 2.5 and 3.5 love this book that we borrowed from the library.

I must admit that I was tempted to put it back on the shelf when I saw the front cover. It doesn't look the best type of picture for a bedtime story!

Even my daughter who's going through a 'scared of monsters' phase loves this book.
